I am finally BACK after so long! And I must say... LJ sure has made some improvements :) 
This is going to be my "expressive outlet" journal. Poems and short stories and whatnot. The real life stuff is in xanga.
Well...I must say, the real thing that brought me back is Watership Down. I read it last year, but I rediscovered it this year, when I dug it out of the back of my backpack. I am currently rereading, and it's my favorite book (for the present)!
I saw the movie on Youtube, but the quality is a little iffy. I came here to find some watership down icons, and i found some by deepfishy, who did an excellent job. 
I took four of those icons, and one more for my xanga. :)

I got back from D-camp just yesterday it was....wow, it was amazing! 
I made lots of new friends, and got nine encourage-o-grams (not bad for my first year, is it? O.o?)
The worship and services were my favorite parts of the day, and the messages Jason Hess(the guest speaker) gave were great!
But most importantly, I got reconnected with God.
Last night, I was praying and I started to cry. I don't know why, I think it's just that I truly realized God loved and died for me, just so I could go to heaven to be with him. He has shown me such mercy and overflowed me with blessings, I was just overwhelmed with emotions.
My blanket still smells like Melcher Hall, the dorm I was living in, with Leslie,my roommate and church pal. Rachel and her other pals lived in Beazley Hall, which I think sounds much better than Melcher. It was very new and plastic-y.
I kept on laughing there, at the most unnecessary times, like when someone went, "I'm a people!" And I would just start giggling.
I got a lot of counselor's signatures, with Janine and Angela(new church friends) and Rachel joined along later. When evening service was over, we went over to the band and got most of them to sign, and Rachel for no apparent reason just started laughing her hiccup-y laugh!! Then a blue-shirted counselor who had jsut given me his signature went, "Look, I'm Rachel, HUH-HUH-HUH-HUH!!!!" Rachel's laugh is a mixture of choking, gasping, hiccuping, and laughing, too.
Lots of funny things happened at camp, I don't think I can name them all. I was really fussy over the encourage-o-grams I wrote--I wrote to everyone in my small group, my two counselors, my new friends, my old friends, and two of my brother's friends whom I made a resolution to be nice to. I didn't write to everyone in my family, and Jenny Zhang (a middle schooler I got acquainted with but unfortuantely didn't write an encourage-o-gram to me) said that on her first year here, she didn't write any encourage-o-grams to the dudes in her group either, but they all wrote to her, and she felt so bad and just scribbled some at the last minute.
Luckily, I don't even know the voices of about 3/4 of the dudes in my family, so there was no problem :)
I DID feel bad, though, when Amy Kau, a girl that goes to my church and whom I carpooled with on the way to D-camp, wrote to me, and I was feeling really bad cause I didn't write to her OR expect her to remember my name, but she said it was okay ><.
The food was pretty good, but the last lunch we had I couldn't eat anymore because I was so sad at the thought of leaving D-camp.
I'll post some more about D-camp in a later update, like the camper counselor challenges and such.

Don't understand? Well, let's pick a book/cartoon/tv show/movie. Umm....no, not Harry Potter.....not from the movies...Let's just say Harry Potter, then. Suppose some 13-year-old girl saw the  second Harry Potter and was all, "OMG I love that movie I wish I was in it! Hey, I could rewrite it or something and make my own story based on it or something (fanfiction. search that on wikipedia. disgusting! ugh...)!!! Hmm but this isn't interesting enough, well I know I'll make a relationship happen between the characters or something!! Uh well I guess I can't do that the characters are not in the right place...oh I know I'll make my own character! It'll be a her (of course), and she'll be an orphan, just like Harry, and she'll have the most stunningly beautiful golden hair--sorta like mine, but its just blonde--maybe with silver stripes, too, that would look cool! And she'll have blue...no, green--well, this is hard to decide, so maybe her eyes will change color according to her mood! That's so awesome and totally original (not) *squee!*!! She can be 11, just one year younger than Harry (in the second movie), and... and...well, Dumbledore will send a letter to her through Ron, who will, of course, fall fiercely in love with her when he meets her, and she'll go with him and his family to buy supplies, and Ron will be all blushy and stuff and protective of her, and she'll become Ginny's best friend, and the wand she gets is a rainbow pheonix feather(ooh so special!!!) and when there isn't enough money to buy her the stuff, Ron offers to give up half his stuff and talk it out with the shop keepers so she'll have enough money...but then they meet Hermione, and she really thinks...well, I think Cylendina Mayeverine Erillebronte is a good name, so Hermione comes in and thinks Cylendina is just really nice, and loans her money, and then they run into Harry, too, who loves Cylendina a lot..."

Yeah. Mary Sues eventually get created similarily. Though I suppose the author (or Suethor) thinks up that info in a longer period of time...?

It seemed hilarious, and I'm rather...not-doing-anything-ish right now, so I'm going to give it a try.
I know how to use Elouai, I went on there before and created what I imagined Shadow's room would look like (it wasn't nearly messy enough!) 
so, let's start!

1. Go to the Elouai doll maker
2. Make an ordinary doll of yourself and save it.
3. Take that doll and, leaving a couple things (nose, eyebrows, whatever) the same, Mary Sue yourself. Make the most blatant Mary Sue you can conceive.
4. Post "Before" and "After" in your LJ. Bonus points if your Sue has a backstory of some sort.

Whoo! I've discovered how to extra-customize my journal and I just blew up the fonts! It took me about a week until I visited my journal again and found that the Blackadder font had somehow become my entry font and was just impossible to read. So I switched around-- did some weird combinations. But now it's normal, I suppose. Meh.

WHEE!!!!! Yesterday I went to the pre-camp rally of Discovery Camp (D-camp) My bro is going to Impact. Same rally, though.
My friends Rachel, Leslie, Emily, and Joanna also went. Karen couldn't go to D-Camp because she was going on a cruise. I carpooled over with my bro, vince, Jennifer One, and Naomi. We worshipped very loudly, prayed, did some fun things, and left happily after two hours. It was fun :) I came back with Naomi, Megan, Vince, Alan, and Jennifer One. They let us eat starbursts during that because we had to do this activity with them(which was fun), and I ate four, then it was so sickly sweet i gave my other 6 to rachel (everyone got ten). But she had to leave in the middle of worship (there was a band of acoustic guitar, three electric guitars, two singers, and one drum set played by the counselours, who were pretty young, and so I took her starbursts and gave them to my bro. At that point Philip(he's taller than me now! But only by like an inch) threw a yellow starburst hard at my arm (it hurt). But I rightfully regained justice by slapping his head when he grabbed Alan. The music was so loud and exciting! I wish you had could come, Mary :(
The theme of the camp(s) for this year is reconnecting with God, which I am happy I to do :D Well, in case you haven't concluded yet, the music was all praising God. So get those thoughts of 'OMG jenny went to a rock concert let's judge her and critisize her!' out of your mind! Lol, j/k, I know you guys wouldn't do that :))))

Oh. My. Gosh.

I just typed this super-long entry and then this weird thing with the mouse happened and it all got deleted! Oh well. What I typed wasn't that interesting anyway :P
Basically, my CD player got reaaaallllyyy messed up, and I was going to buy a new one, but my dad found this interest in iPods, and were were going to buy THAT, but then we saw this ilo that could download 495 songs and record and had an FM radio. Whoa. WAAAAAAYYYY more than I wanted, you know.
I wonder why my parents are like that. I want to play piano, they tell me to go upstairs and watch TV. 
"Stop reading!"is also frequently heard. Reading is entertaining for me, I'm readin' The Diary of Anne Frank right now. Interesting! Math is not my strong point, though.  :(
I just got a hair cut! Only an inch or so, though, perhaps even less. My house smells unusally pleasant, now.
